How to record your screen and webcam in Chrome.

Create a clear walkthrough with your camera and voice.

Screen recordings are useful for tutorials, support, bug reports, and quick project updates. CaptureShot’s Chrome extension can combine your screen, optional camera, audio, and live annotations.

1. Choose what to record

Open the CaptureShot extension, start the recording studio, and choose a Chrome tab, application window, or entire screen.

2. Add your camera and audio

Enable your microphone if you want narration. Turn on the webcam overlay and pick a circle, rectangle, or full-screen camera layout. Available source audio depends on your browser and selected capture source.

3. Record with annotations

Use the pen, arrows, shapes, or text while recording to guide viewers through the important parts. The annotations appear in the final video.

4. Stop and save

Review the recording and download the video. The extension keeps its recording history locally in your browser.
